How to Navigate Feeling Stuck

Updated: Jul 2

The feeling of being stuck may be overwhelming. When we hit a wall, it often feels like we will forever be there. It's a feeling of helplessness. Find inspiration here.

When I feel stuck, I seem to fall into a bottomless pit. I'm so far down that I can barely see the sliver of light at the top. But I've learned that even in the darkest moments, there's always a way out. Can anyone relate? Let me share a personal story. For the last year, I have been working on my health. I lost 25 pounds along the way. Mindless eating has always been a weakness of mine. The food turned into my therapy, and the weight pilled on. When I intentionally ate and moved my body, the weight began to come off. I'm not perfect, and there are days when I fall back into the habit of stress eating. When I hit these roadblocks, I go back to the basics. I increase my water intake. I walk daily. Sitting down to eat, I take smaller bites and savor the moment. I practice gratitude. These help me re-focus on what is important and why my health is worth it.

When you encounter a roadblock, whether in your finances, health journey, relationships, career aspirations, or even your self-perception, remember that you hold the key to navigating these obstacles. This realization can spark hope and motivation, reminding you that change and progress are always within your grasp. The power to overcome lies within you.

  • Get back to the basics.

When we find ourselves stagnant or feeling stuck, remember that the path to progress often lies in simplicity. Scaling back to the basics can be a powerful tool, and the best part is that we all have the power to do it. This simple approach can help us see beyond the complexities of our challenges and focus on the fundamental steps that can lead us to success.

Here are some simple examples: 👇

👊🏻 Health Journey- focus on small wins such as walking daily and drinking

more water. It doesn't take much effort, but these small steps

will build momentum.

💵 Finances- if you find yourself overspending and not saving getting back to the basics will help you see past this roadblock. Unsubscribe from emails

and text notifications that encourage you to buy. Try unfollowing

accounts that you know influence your buying habits. These steps will help keep those dollars in your bank account.

♥️ Relationships -Next time you walk, invite an old friend. Maybe you feel distant from your spouse or partner. Nature has a way of bringing people together.

✌🏻 Relationship with self -It's easy to get stuck in self-doubt and negative self-talk. The danger of staying in this place too long can be detrimental. Get a good amount of sleep. It helps regulate your body so that it functions at optimal capacity. Do things that bring you joy. It can be as

simple as brewing tea and sitting outside, listening to the

birds sing. Journal. Write down things that you like about

yourself. Place a bath bomb or Epsom salt in your bath. Take

self-care steps such as keeping your heels healthy. Check out
