How to get rid of cracked heels

Updated: May 30

Spring is almost here, and that means it's time to bring out your open-toed shoes! Flip-flops, sandals, and bare feet are all in season, but if you're self-conscious about the appearance of your feet, you're not alone. One common problem area is the heels, which can become dry, cracked, and even bleed. However, with a little TLC, you can get your feet ready for warm weather in no time!

Here's what you'll need to take care of your cracked heels:

- A fresh coat of your favorite nail polish

- Moisturizing heel socks

- Vaseline (Pure petroleum jelly)

- Pedicure rasp foot file

- Your favorite lotion

Here are the steps to follow for smooth and beautiful heels:

STEP 1: Remove any old, chipped nail polish and apply a fresh coat of your favorite color.

STEP 2: Gather all the items listed above.

STEP 3: Before bed, apply a generous amount of Vaseline to your heels, focusing on the cracked areas.

STEP 4: Put on the moisturizing heel socks and leave them on overnight.

STEP 5: In the morning, after taking a shower, use the pedicure foot file to gently scrape away any dead skin on your heels.

STEP 6: Apply your favorite lotion to your feet and you're ready to go! Repeat this process 3-4 nights a week, and you'll soon see the results you want. With smooth and beautiful heels, you can wear your sandals with confidence and without any painful cracks or bleeding.
